Good morning from everyone at PIP, here's what we've got on over the next couple of weeks.

PLEASE NOTE: There will be no Youth Club on the 11th August due to the PIP Kitchen event and no Sports on 22nd August due to Just So Festival.

We have partnered with the @hubbfoundation who have offered us a number of HAF (Holidays and Food) sessions across our summer programme. On Tuesdays and Thursdays only from the 21st July - 13th August, our sessions will include a free lunch provided by @theslamwichclub , Stoke, for every child who attends (up to 20 children and on a first come first served basis). Food will be served around 12pm. Because these are funded sessions, we will need to take a register of all attendees on the day.

On Saturday as part of Gardening Club led by our a

On Saturday as part of Gardening Club led by our artist gardener @msdmeanar we were excited to open the moth trap lit the night before. Young neighbour Emily led a creative session to document the moths as bead keyrings. Then we continued drawings towards our Portland Pattern! @katrinawilde worked with Rebecca to observe with neighbours and draw from our natural landscape, as we work with neighbours to generate illustrations celebrating Portland Street’s nature. The pattern we create will be screenprinted on textile and used by our upholstery group for stools, furniture and soft furnishings in the building 🌞🌱🐛
